ETFC24 was honoured to have Professor Tokeer Ahmad, a distinguished scholar in Chemistry as an esteemed invited speaker.

Graduating from IIT Roorkee and completing his Ph.D. at IIT Delhi, Prof. Ahmad is currently a full Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, since 2019.

Prof. Ahmad's impressive academic contributions include supervising 16 Ph.D. students and 77 postgraduates, publishing 182 research papers, one patent, and three books. He has an outstanding research citation of 6610 and an h-index of 48. 

Active in the academic community, Prof. Ahmad serves as a reviewer for 159 journals, delivers invited talks, evaluates doctoral theses, and presents conference papers. He has received numerous awards, including the MRSI Medal and the Inspired Teacher’s President of India Award. Prof. Ahmad's international recognition includes being named in the World Top 2% Scientists list by Stanford University, USA, for four consecutive years since 2020. He was recently admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), UK.
